Mr. Adewale Ajisafe is an alumnus of the prestigious New York Institute of Finance (NYIF) and the Strathclyde Graduate Business School, Glasgow UK.

He is a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) and also a Chartered Member of Chartered Management Institute, (UK) – Associate.

He has worked with Ecobank Nigeria Ltd. as Team Lead, Local Conglomerates (Fertilizers, Steel and Cement), Corporate Banking. He worked with EXPRESS DISCOUNT LIMITED as Head, Credit Department. He also worked at Goldfish Card Services, (part of BARCLAYS BANK, UK) Customer Account Officer, Goldfish Card Services, Glasgow Scotland. He joined UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA PLC  (Post Merger with Standard Trust Bank Plc) as Team Lead, Food & Beverages Unit, Corporate & Energy Bank.

He has a broad banking experience spanning both local and international markets with emphasis on Corporate and Investment Banking, Credit & Risk Analysis, International Trade Structuring, Commercial Product Development, Payment and Collection Solutions as well as Project Management.

He is married with children.
