Mr. Oni is a seasoned banker with over 23 years of experience in originating, structuring, and managing debt capital investments for multinationals, regional, and local corporates across project, corporate, and structured finance.

He currently heads the Energy Group at FSDH Merchant Bank Limited, overseeing Oil & Gas, Power, and Infrastructure portfolios and providing tailored debt capital funding and financial solutions.

Previously, Mr. Oni held leadership roles at Ecobank Nigeria, managing teams in Oil & Gas, Maritime, and Telecoms sectors, and at Guaranty Trust Bank, handling portfolios for multinationals, corporates, and value chain operators.

A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University and Warwick Business School (MBA), he brings deep expertise in enterprise and credit risk management, adding strategic value to the company at board level.
